Description
The revolutionary 125 Max DD2 EVO engine features a 2-speed paddle shift gearbox and a chainless drive system. Steel gear ratios are submerged in oil to create a wet clutch, and replace the traditional chain and sprocket setup. DD2 specific chassis are manufactured with front brakes and a new unique Rear Tyre Protection system to improve safety. The DD2 EVO features an electronic Power Valve. This new system replaces the original adjustable Power Valve and now specifically opens at 8,800rpm or 9,100rpm based on driver preference. The engine requires no additional blueprinting or engine tuning prior to use. The standard setup for the carburettor covers nearly all operating conditions. For extreme conditions the jetting of the carburettor can be changed in between sessions, and no longer requires the driver to ‘tune’ whilst racing. The engine has an integrated electric starter with ignition switch. A 6 month manufacturers warranty is included with the engine.
